“I learned to create lovable, but silly characters and how to choose funny names for them. I learned to make things go wrong with my character, but nothing too serious. I learned to exaggerate and to not step on the punch line too early. “My favorite workshop was of course the one with John Bogert which was so amazing it made me want to have his profession! He gets to travel around the world, learning about history, meeting presidents and listening to their stories, so amazing I could not believe my ears. What could ever be better! Plus, he gets to write about it anyway he likes in his opinion in the paper. Before this conference I never knew writing could be so fun and adventurous. I love to learn about the past and how things work and put them on my opinion and this was a perfect chance. I loved it!” – 4th Grader |
